product description
D-D Marco Premium Shelf Rock Coralline 18 Kg Box
Premium Shelf rock is found in areas where natural plate formations occur, which are not very common in ancient reef deposits. This requires more preparation than the other stones to produce the finished product.
Each rock is unique and can be used to create fantastic shelf and cave structures on which you can place your corals or where fish can hide.
DD Marco Coralline Rock is a completely natural calcium carbonate rock, now supplied in colored form. A new, specially developed, lacquer-free process is used to simulate coral-covered live rock. The purple coral color instantly gives your new reef structure a natural and established appearance, while over time, real coral algae will populate the surface.
Sustainable
The natural rock is sustainably harvested from the remains of ancient coral reefs on land that rose from the sea millennia ago, forming part of Florida, the Keys, and the Caribbean's structure. Since the rock does not come from a living marine environment, it has no negative impact on the world's sensitive reef or marine ecosystems. Being a completely natural reef rock, it has the perfect porosity for the colonization of beneficial bacteria to create a thriving ecosystem in your aquarium.
Shaped by nature
Each stone is entirely unique and ideal for creating beautifully realistic marine environments. In many stones, you can even see the pronounced coral structures of the ancient animals that created them. This not only makes this product environmentally friendly for living coral reefs but also provides the additional benefit of using dry natural rock, which is entirely free from pests and hitchhikers, ensuring no unwanted organisms enter your aquascape.
Buffering
The calcium carbonate composition of the rock provides a natural buffering capacity in the aquarium without any negative impact on pH. No additional curing is required.
