D-D was founded by David Saxby in Great Britain and has become a highly respected supplier of marine aquaristic products. D-D's company philosophy is to develop and introduce products that they themselves are convinced of and know from their own experience that they work. DD's Managing Director David Saxby is known all over the world for being always at the forefront of modern reef aquaristics and his 3,700 gallons (14,000 liters) home aquarium has been shown on television and in many books. David describes himself and his methods as a "reef gardener" an not really as a "scientist" and he has already learned through the hard way over many years what works and does not work as he has developed his hobby more and more through his numerous global contacts.
