The composition of the water values and the trace elements in saltwater aquariums must correspond to the natural conditions in the open water.

When measuring by ICP-OES analysis, water samples are regularly sent in and the parameters are regularly determined much more precisely by optical emission spectrometry (OES) with inductively coupled plasma (ICP) than with drop tests. Defects can be precisely replenished (individual elements) and excess elements or impurities can be adsorbed (adsorber).
