The Aqua-Pro Reef stand is manufactured and built for D-D in the UK to ensure consistently high quality. With their modern, sleek design, the cabinets enhance the appearance of the aquarium while serving as complementary furniture pieces for the room.

Each cabinet comes pre-assembled in a selection of seven standard finishes and four high-quality glossy or matte laminate finishes.

All cabinets are equipped with soft-close hinges that are fully adjustable and feature a quick-release mechanism. This allows the doors to be aligned in three directions and easily removed for full access during maintenance. To maintain the clear style and modern look, the cabinets are equipped with push-open mechanisms, eliminating the need for handles.

The back of the cabinet has large openings for routing pipes, cables, etc. The open interior space provides as much room as possible for equipment.

Sump

The Aqua-Pro Reef 600 Cube / Aqua-Pro Reef 900 feature a multi-chamber sump with height-adjustable baffles and a freshwater refill container.

To accommodate a variety of filter options, the Aqua-Pro Reef 600/900 sump not only has separate compartments but also adjustable baffles. These allow for adjusting and changing the water level as needed. This can be particularly useful when setting up a refugium where you desire a greater water depth than normally offered. Or when adjusting the perfect height for your protein skimmer without using cumbersome solutions to raise the unit from the bottom of the sump. Simply loosen the two fastenings slightly, slide the baffle to the desired height, and then tighten it again. This can be easily done even with the aquarium running, and no tools are required.

Unique Design "Invisible Overflow"

The Aqua-Pro Reef 600 Cube or Aqua-Pro Reef 900 features a central overflow made of black glass. Its slim profile and beveled sides help it blend with the aquarium's black background, allowing unobstructed viewing from three sides. Unlike a typical box overflow, this unique design lacks hard square edges that could hinder aquascaping.

The included UltraFlow overflow grid allows for maximum water flow over the overflow without excessively raising the water level in the aquarium. The UltraFlow overflow grid maintains high flow at all times, allowing for the use of larger return pumps with higher flow rates.

The D-D UltraFlow overflow grid features a unique arrangement of vertical and horizontal drainage slots, allowing approximately 30 to 50% more water to flow than a vertical standard overflow grid. This prevents excessive water levels, which could lead to overflow in case of a power outage, for example.

For maintenance, the overflow grid can be easily removed and cleaned.

The return pipe conveniently passes through the front of the overflow, keeping it clean and secure in position. A 3D-printed flow generator and optional wide outlet nozzle are included with the tank, allowing flow from the sump to be adjusted and tailored to your reef.

The Aquaframe system allows you to future-proof your aquarium by allowing you to change the color of the cabinet at any time without having to purchase a new cabinet.

ClariSea Ready Sump

The Aqua-Pro Reef 1200 comes with a ClariSea Ready multi-chamber sump with a freshwater refill container. When ordering the aquarium, an optional removable filter sock holder can be included, which can be easily removed and upgraded to a ClariSea unit at any time after the aquarium is set up.

To accommodate a variety of filter options, the Aqua-Pro Reef 1200 sump features three separate chambers. The first two chambers are large enough to accommodate devices such as skimmers, media reactors, calcium reactors, etc.; you can also use one chamber as a refugium with Caulerpa/Cheato. The last section is a generously sized return pump compartment located next to the integrated water collection container, making it easy to add an ATO unit.

The latest version of the Aqua-Pro Reef 1200 comes with ClariSea Ready plumbing, allowing the SK3000 or SK5000 models to be installed in the first chamber of the sump without any modifications required.

What can the ClariSea fleece filter do?

It is a patented, ultra-compact, highly efficient water filtration system that continuously removes suspended particles such as microalgae, detritus, food, organic waste, and gravel dust from the water column to improve water quality and clarity. The ClariSea design is suitable for use in both marine and freshwater aquariums, as well as fish farming and coral breeding facilities.
