The Aqua-Pro Reef 1200, standing at 56 cm in height, offers a large viewing area and a comfortable depth without appearing top-heavy. The central "invisible overflow weir" allows for a clear view of the aquarium from three sides. The integrated overflow system in the overflow weir with two pipes ensures nearly silent operation. The D-D Ultra Flow overflow grid allows for maximum water flow without excessively raising the water level in the aquarium.
Cabinet:
The Aqua-Pro Reef aquarium cabinet is manufactured and built for D-D in the UK to ensure consistent high quality. With their modern, sleek design, the cabinets enhance the overall appearance of the aquarium while serving as complementary furniture for any room. Each cabinet is delivered pre-assembled in a selection of 7 standard finishes and 4 high-quality glossy or matte laminate finishes. All cabinets are equipped with soft-close hinges that are fully adjustable and feature a quick-release mechanism, allowing the doors to be aligned in three directions and easily removed for full access during maintenance. To maintain the clean style and modern appearance, the cabinets are equipped with push-to-open mechanisms, eliminating the need for handles. The rear of the cabinet has large openings for routing pipes, cables, etc., and the open interior provides as much space as possible for accessories.
AquaFrame Option:
In addition to cabinets constructed from wood panels, the Aqua-Pro Reef 1200 model offers an option for a metal frame. The pre-assembled AquaFrame cabinets are made from aircraft-grade aluminum profiles, cut to size and assembled with special stainless steel angles and high-strength rivets. The AquaFrame system allows you to future-proof your aquarium by allowing you to change the cabinet's color at any time without having to purchase a new cabinet.
ClariSea Ready Technical Sump:
The Aqua-Pro Reef 1200 comes with a ClariSea Ready multi-chamber technical sump with a freshwater refill container. When ordering the aquarium, an optional removable filter sock holder can be included, which can also be easily removed and upgraded to a ClariSea unit after the aquarium is set up. To allow for various filter options, the Aqua-Pro Reef 1200 technical sump features three separate chambers. The first two chambers are large enough to accommodate devices such as skimmers, media reactors, calcium reactors, etc.; You can also use one chamber as a refugium with Caulerpa/Cheato. The final section is a generously sized return pump compartment located next to the integrated water collection container for easy addition of an ATO unit. The latest version of the Aqua-Pro Reef 1200 comes with ClariSea Ready plumbing, allowing the SK3000 or SK5000 models to be installed in the first chamber of the technical sump without any modifications.
