High purity:Fiji White Sand consists of 99.6% calcium and magnesium compounds and is free of organic or mineral impurities. This makes it one of the purest materials available on the market.
Brilliant white and excellent light reflection:The fine, brilliant white sand reflects light exceptionally well. This results in an overall brighter appearance of the aquarium. Corals also benefit, as the reflection allows more diffuse light to reach their tissue from below – an effect also found in natural reefs.
High density for stability:Compared to conventional aragonite sand, Fiji White Sand has a significantly higher density. This makes it heavier and allows it to stay in place better, even in strong currents. This effectively reduces sand drift in the aquarium.
Application:
Rinse Fiji White Sand thoroughly several times before adding it to the aquarium until the water runs mostly clear.
For a stable aquarium environment, we recommend a layer depth of approximately 2 cm.
