product description

Ocean Nutrition Reef Pulse 120 g

The Reef Pulse is a concentrated food for SPS/LPS corals and a nutrient boost for your reef basin with tasty micro-particles that provide all the important nutrients.

It contains protein stimulants that trigger the feeding impulse in SPS and LPS corals.

The high quality powdered coral food is an innovative blend of selected zoo and phytoplankton for the special nutritional needs of many SPS and LPS corals, tube worms and other omnivorous filter animals including highly digestible marine proteins and free amino acids, the building blocks for reef organisms.
The wide particle size range from 5 to 400 microns makes it an ideal food for a wide variety of coral species such as Euphyllia, Acropora, Montipora, Clavularia, Goniopora, Zoanthiden, Scolymia, Dendronephthya, Stylophora, Pocillopora, Seriatopora, Xenia, Anthelia, Echinopora.
By feeding Reef Pulse regularly, your corals will show faster growth and more intense colouring.
Reef Pulse can be used for direct or aquarium feeding, according to the following feeding instructions.

Fill a container with 100 ml of aquarium water for target feeding and add up to 1/4 to 1 teaspoon (depending on the coral density) of Reef Pulse,
Mix and stir well and turn off filtration, skimmers, flow pumps, etc. during feeding to avoid immediate removal and distribute a cloud of concentrated nutrient solution over the target coral.
Recommission the filtration and skimmer approx. 10 to 15 minutes after feeding. The time depends on how quickly the feed is consumed.
Do not feed more than 1 teaspoon per 400 litres per day.

For pelvic feeding fill in 500 ml of aquarium water into a container and add 1/4 to 1 teaspoon (depending on the coral density) of Reef Pulse per 400 litres of aquarium water.
Mix and stir well and turn off filtration, skimmers, flow pumps, etc. during feeding to avoid immediate removal. After that put the feed solution into the aquarium and switch on the flow pumps to distribute the feed.
Recommission the filtration and skimmer approx. 10 to 15 minutes after feeding. The time depends on how quickly the feed is consumed.
Do not feed more than 1 teaspoon per 400 litres per day.
