Euphyllia divisa is a large polyp stony coral species. It grows flabello-maeandroid and like other Euphyllias was actually placed in the new genus Fimbriaphyllia, as Fimbriaphyllia divisa - only on the CITES side this change has still not arrived. It is found on the Indo-Pacific islands like Indonesia or Australia. It has a twisted skeleton with clearly visible septa, between which sit fleshy polyps that can expand widely. Its tentacles are branched and have multiple tips, which has earned it the name frogspawn coral. Because the colonies grow very large, they usually come to the market fragmented. The clean cuts heal mostly very well, if the water conditions are ok. Normal colorations with tentacle tips in green and purple tones are common, sometimes green tentacles with purple points.
