Maxspect Nano-Tech Anaerobic-Block

Maxspect Nano-Tech Anaerobic Blocks for freshwater and saltwater aquariums effectively remove nitrate from the aquarium. The patented technology is specifically designed to stimulate the proliferation of anaerobic bacteria.
 
These anaerobic bacteria close the nitrogen cycle through denitrification by breeding heterotrophic anaerobic bacteria (including species of the genera Paracoccus denitrificans and various pseudomonads). These these reduce nitrate to gaseous nitrogen, allowing nutrients to be transported out of the aquarium.

Denitrification is increasingly used to remove nitrogen from wastewater, municipal, industrial and agricultural effluents to combat pollution.

Various types of denitrification reactors and methods are now being used and are effective in removing nitrates from agricultural wastewater and even manure. This technology has been incorporated into the Maxspect Nano-Tech Anaerobic Blocks in the form of a compact unit that can be perfectly integrated into a technic tank.
 
Maxspect Nano-Tech Anaerobic Blocks are carefully manufactured to ensure optimum quality and pore structure, creating ideal living conditions and an ideal environment for the bacterial colonies growing within.

The bacteria do not decompose the anaerobic blocks. The nano-ceramic beads used in the blocks are specially treated with a proprietary technology so that they excel in colonizing heterotrophic anaerobic bacteria that move in an anoxic environment.
