Calcinus elegans, commonly known as the Blue Halloween Hermit Crab, is one of the most colorful and striking hermit crabs in the marine aquarium hobby. Its vivid blue legs with bright orange joints make it a true eye-catcher among rocks and corals. Beyond its beauty, it serves a practical purpose by feeding on algae, leftover food, and detritus, helping to keep the aquarium clean.
