Macropharyngodon meleagris - Blackspotted wrasse

MACROPHARYNGODON MELEAGRIS - BLACKSPOTTED WRASSE

The distinctive, eponymous marking makes the Blackspotted Wrasse a real eye-catcher. At first it may be a bit sensitive but is easy to care once it’s acclimated. It‘s up to 15 cm tall, requires a pool with at least 600 litres and enough hiding places. Best keep them in groups of at least three animals. As feed flakes and frozen food is suitable, the fish also eats small invertebrates from live rocks.
