Anampses meleagrides - Spotted wrasse
ANAMPSES MELEAGRIDES - SPOTTED WRASSE
A beautifully colored wrasse, that can be a little shy and sensitive at first and needs apprpriate care - but once it’s settled the fish is really agile and easy to keep. Since the Spotted Wrasse gets very large (20 - 27 cm) it should be kept only in large tanks from 800 litres. In addition enough sand should be present in the aquarium so the wrasse can bury there for sleeping. The fish loves to eat flakes, frozen food or live food and is best kept single or as pair.
