Odonus niger - Redtoothed triggerfish

ODONUS NIGER - REDTOOTHED TRIGGERFISH

This usually bluish triggerfish got its name from the characteristic red teeth in adult state. The Redtoothed Triggerfish is only suitable for very large aquariums from due to its size (up to 40 cm) and its active swimming behavior. He is considered aggressive, but is much more peaceful than other triggerfish and mostly keeps away from corals and other lower animals. Since the Odonus niger is an omnivore, various food but can be metered, preferably zooplankton. Best keep this triggerfish as pair.
