We used Optiwhite™ glass and black silicone, which were designed specifically for marine aquariums and assure the maximum water-tightness.The crystal clear glass does not distort colors and is easy to clean. It also has a higher scratch resistance. Pilkington Optiwhite™ is a low-iron exceptionally transparent glass with no greenish tint, which is important in marine aquariums with thick glass.
The best quality production process ensures an ultra even surface without any distortion, providing excellent viewing conditions for your corals. High aesthetics are achieved by the black overflow box, bottom, and back glass. The noise-cancelling cover makes the water flow nearly inaudible, and the detachable weir comb is easy to clean.
Professional foam ensures safety and simplifies aquarium placement on the cabinet. Because of it's appropriate thickness of the glass, Aquaforest was able to design a rimless aquarium with great light transmission and complete set safety.
