Application:
We recommend a thickness of the sand bed of 15-30mm. Rinse Marine Direct Reef Aquarium Sand well before use.
Required quantity:
The required amount of reef aquarium sand in kg can be calculated as follows:
(Aquarium length in cm x aquarium width in cm x sand bed thickness in cm) / 600
Example: Aquarium with 100 length, 50cm width, desired sand bed thickness 3cm:
(100 x 50 x 3) / 600 = 25, i.e. 25kg of Marine Direct Reef Aquarium Sand is required.
