The LifeRock Shrooms are suitable as an accent for a plateau or as solitary reef columns. This gives the visual impression of a reef growing out of the ground and offers the fish a large swimming area. The loose structure also ensures an optimal flow, which minimises sedimentation.
LifeRocks from CaribSea are fossil aragonite rock with a bacterial coating that shortens the settling-in phase even compared to live rock and creates a stable microclimate in the long term. And all this without ecological concerns, with a lower nutrient load and incredible design freedom. Since the stones are extracted from dry reefs, each stone is unique.
The stones are coated with a reddish bacterial film which gives them the appearance of live rock with a coating of calcareous red algae. The biofilm, consisting of permanent stages of different bacteria strains, allows transport and storage in dry condition.
