product description
Oceamo Corrector ZERO 10.000 ml
Liquid concentrate for the making of Oceamo Corrector seawater. Ideal for the new filling of reef aquariums or for the correction of water values.
The new system for the production of seawater. Consisting of a 10-fold liquid concentrate
(Corrector ZERO) with perfectly balanced (by ICP-MS) and homogeneous quantities and trace elements -
but zero values for KH, calcium and potassium. Setting of desired values for KH, calcium and potassium via concentrates (Corrector Modifier).
New filling for aquariums: Best possible start with optimal parameters!
Effective and fast correction of increased water values (Ca, KH, K) by small water changes.
Water changes with desired parameters: Prevent fluctuations!
Optimal trace element profile: Even ultra-trace elements optimally balanced based on ICP-MS measurements, homogeneous and reproducible from batch to batch.
No elevated manganese and iron levels as with a variety of sea salts
Produced out of high purity pharmaceutical salts
High efficiency due to 10-fold concentrate
Highest possible safety regarding heavy metals
How is Oceamo Corrector mixed?
- The 10-fold concentrate Oceamo Corrector ZERO is mixed with osmosis water. To produce 100l seawater, 10 l (corresponding to 12 kg) Corrector ZERO and 90 l of high quality osmosis water are needed.
- Then the desired parameters of calcium, KH and potassium are set with the Corrector modifiers. To produce optimal seawater, 250 ml of each modifier is necessary for 100 l of finished seawater. Thus, 425 mg/l of calcium, an alkalinity of 7.5 dKH and 390 mg/l of potassium are adjusted.
- The measuring of the modifier can be done with a measuring cylinder or a syringe (depending on the required volume). It is important to rinse the measuring cylinder (or syringe) with osmosis water in between, as the different modifier solutions form precipitates on direct contact. The seawater should also always be mixed well when adding the modifier (e.g. using a flow pump).
What is the elemental composition of Oceamo Corrector?
Oceamo Corrector is produced "ICP-MS guided": This gives us full control down to very low concentration ranges (ultra trace elements). The typical composition concerning bulk and trace elements is:
