The new Tunze Care Bacter contains bacteria on a stone powder substate from Maerl, which keep freshwater or saltwater aquariums clean.
Effect:
1. Various green algae and thread algae are greatly reduced, the algae of your aquarium disks are slowed down. The introduced bacteria are in competition with the mentioned algae.
2. Nitrate and phosphate compounds are reduced. The bacteria absorb nitrate and phosphate compounds as food and are absorbed by corals at the end of their lives or picked up by the skimmer or the filter.
3. Corals and fish are more vital. The bacteria and the other ingredients supplement the defenses and reduce the risk of diseases, v.a. Vibrio infections.
4. The aquarium is much cleaner and organic deposits (Mulm) are significantly reduced because the bacteria can use the mulm as food.

Application:
For the first application, we recommend a so-called "shock vaccination" (measuring spoon included in the scope of delivery), which leads effectively and quickly to a desired positive result: For aquariums of 500 to 1,000 liters: 10 ml per week (corresponds to 4 measuring spoons) over a period of 2 weeks. For aquariums from 100 to 500 liters: 5 ml per week (corresponds to 2 measuring spoons) over a period of 2 weeks. For aquariums from 30 to 100 liters: 2.5 ml per week (corresponds to 1 measuring spoon) over a period of 2 weeks. During the dosage, we recommend temporarily stopping the existing mechanical filtration system and seawater skimming for 10 minutes and entering the dose directly into the aquarium biotope.
Normal dosage after the first vaccination:
For aquariums from 500 to 1000 liters: 2.5 ml per week (corresponds to 1 measuring spoon). For aquariums from 30 to 500 liters: 1.25 ml per week (corresponds to 1/2 measuring spoon). During the dosage, we recommend temporarily stopping the existing mechanical filtration system and seawater skimming for 10 minutes and entering the dose directly into the aquarium biotope.
