RED X prevents algae growth in the aquarium and works in a biological-organic way. RED X is very gentle to use and has no effect on fish, corals or invertebrates when used in the intended dosage. Red X is a special liquid tonic against algae and bacteria, developed for use in marine aquariums.
Rebiotic cure after treatment We recommend a treatment with Fauna Marin Rebiotic after a treatment to establish a healthy and efficient biology in the aquarium. This effectively prevents new infections with undesirable coatings. In particularly stubborn cases, you can repeat the treatment after a rest period of 1 week. Only then should you start using Rebiotic.

Purely biological effect! It contains no prescription drugs or antibiotics. RED X's action is initiated by inhibiting metabolic cycles within the unwanted algae/bacteria and does not affect common circulating bacteria.
Why RED X? RED X prevents algae growth in the aquarium and works in a biological/organic way. It is particularly suitable for eliminating light cyanobacteria, dinoflagellates and above all gold algae deposits.
RED X or DINO X? RED X has a gentle and supportive effect. We recommend using RED X before a treatment with DINO X, as this has a much stronger effect. Heavily infested aquariums that are infected with the brown plague should be treated with Dino X straight away.
CAUTION for aquariums in the start-up phase! RED X should not be used if you have just started your aquarium. The deposits and algae growing during the start-up phase are part of the healthy development of a marine aquarium and should not be disturbed!
Correct water parameter Red X is no substitute for the correct adjustment of water and nutrient parameter. We recommend an ICP analysis and the correct adjustment of all water parameter to accompany each use. The outbreak of cyanobacteria is strongly related to certain relations of trace and nutrient parameter and can only be permanently eliminated by the correct adjustment of the aquarium parameter.

Dosage:
10 ml RED X per 100 litres daily for 6 days - then 5 days duration of action.
The product can be dosed together with commercially available bacteria preparations
Dosing instructions:
Do not use activated carbon, ozone
UV systems, phosphate absorbers, protein skimmers can remain in operation
Use dosing pumps for regular dosing and add the dosing quantity all at once
You can carry out dosing at any time
Do not change the water during the treatment period
Suck off all existing deposits if possible
After the treatment period has expired - i.e. after 11 days at the earliest - you can go back to normal care.
If you dose by hand, use a syringe and the Fauna Marin DIY Doser to avoid contamination of the product

Reduce amino acid/vitamin dosages by 50%.
