Special liquid algaecide against dinoflagellates and golden algae in marine aquaria.
Fauna Marin DINO X is a special preparation for combating dinoflagellate and golden algae infections in reef aquariums. The preparation acts on the metabolism of the dinoflagellates and prevents them from absorbing nutrients. This causes these algae to die.

Dosage:
5 ml DINO X per 100 litres aquarium water.
In case of very heavy infestation and good skimmer, dosage can be up to 6 ml/100 litres
Dosing instructions:
Set the main lighting phase to max. 6 hours daily.
If you dose by hand, use a syringe and the Fauna Marin DIY Doser to avoid contamination of the product to avoid contamination of the product
It is very important that the exact content of the aquarium is calculated to prevent possible overdosing.
The product should always be dosed in the evening or 1 hour after switching off the main lighting.
Repeat the dosage every 2 days until the algae have disappeared completely.
Set the skimmer to full power and operate it 24/7.
Do not change the water during the dosing period, first water change approx. 1 week after the end of dosing.
Do not add trace elements during the dosing period.
Also no addition of mineral salts, amino preparations, SPS food, balling trace elements.
No OZON or carbon during the dosing time.
No adsorbers of any kind during the dosing time.
After the end of the treatment, filtering with Fauna Marin Carb L activated carbon according to the dosing instructions is recommended.
Water values can be adjusted with Balling light or lime water. These have no influence on DINO X. Ready-made products should not be used, however, as they often contain additional trace elements.
A general treatment duration cannot be given. Usually dinoflagellates are sufficiently controlled with 10, other algae and approx. 15 dosing cycles.
Storage advice:
The product has a minimum shelf life of approx. 3 years unopened.
Store in a dry place, protected from light, at normal room temperature.
Avoid contamination of the product with bacteria or dirt.
Ensure that children do not have access to the products used or stored.
Disposal:
The empty bottle can be disposed of with household waste or at recycling collection points.
Please follow your local regulations for waste disposal.
