Turbelle stream 6040 nano electronic WIDE FLOW (6040.000) (and an also available model 6020) is a new type of compact circulation pumps for aquariums from 20 to 500 litres (5 to 132 USgal.). These modern pumps can easily be concealed behind decoration and ensure the harmonious overall impression of small aquariums. The pumps are ideal for aquascaping.
A special flow deflector and Magnet Holder offer a 3D adjustability of the wide water jet at the pump outlet. Through the Silence holder, the pump doesnt directly touch the aquarium glass and thus can not pass vibrations. These pumps (6040 and 6020) are particularly maintenance-free thanks to the "Self-Cleaning System". The pump is extremely quiet and energy efficient.
Turbelle stream 6040 nano electronic WIDE FLOW is the smallest speed-controlled circulation pump with an extra-low 12V safety voltage, which has a Fish Care Function, that triggers a revolution of the propeller every 20 seconds, when the pump is in standstill. It is controlled by a Turbelle controller, but can also be used with all other Multicontrollers.

Facts about "intelligent pump ": Turbelle Nano Stream electronic
Turbelle stream nano electronic pumps are speed controllable, and equipped with a safety extra-low voltage. It can be used in aquariums from 40 to 1000 litres for the simulation of tidal currents or lapping waves. The pump has a motor which is controlled by a microprocessor. The electronic motor is able to automatically adapt its speed to the pump load. The engine seeks the best efficiency with minimum energy consumption. The consumption is about 50 percent lower than with conventional pump motors. The pump will be stopped immediately in case of blockage. If the blockage is removed, the pump starts again with a 20-second delay. The integrated fish care function causes a revolution of the propeller every twenty seconds when the pump is at a standstill. The sophisticated engine technology provides a low motor heat.

Perfect for smaller tanks
This is a great reliable pump with a wonderful flow pattern. It is very easy to clean. But it can be heard as a small hum when run on maximum.
