The ITC PARwise Pro light meter takes light measurements to a new level and introduces a new gold standard for coral lighting measurements with cPUR (Coral Photosynthetically Usable Radiation). Perfect coral growth rates require three factors: the right wavelengths, the appropriate light intensity, and a suitable exposure duration. As light changes with depth and clarity, and the needs of plants and animals vary, the PARwise Pro allows for precise lighting adjustments.

Key features of the PARwise Pro:

  • Extended spectral range: Measures light from 350 nm to 1100 nm, including near-UV-A and infrared, to capture all the essential wavelengths for corals.

  • cPUR technology: Provides a light measurement specifically designed for corals by considering only the wavelengths and intensities that corals can use for photosynthetic processes.
