With years of research and testing, these new RedSea ReefLed are just the thing!
The built-in WiFi connects the lights directly to the internet so that you can control them from your smartphone using the ReefBeat® app from Red Sea.
The heart of the unit is a single, compact LED array with a multi-wavelength channel "REEF-SPEC Blue" with 23,000 Kelvin (a unique mix of blue, violet and ultraviolet LEDs), which together with a white channel (8000K ), offers a reef-safe color temperature range that allows all corals to thrive.
In addition, a separate 3W moonlight channel offers little light for reef-safe night viewing.
The ReefLED also contains a hollow lens made of glass, which ensures a homogeneous light spectrum with ideal PAR values ??throughout the aquarium, without creating hotspots or areas with insufficient light for coral growth.
The ReefLED is controlled by Red Sea‘s ReefBeat App, which contains a number of preset lighting programs you can choose from, as well as additional functions such as sunrise and sunset effects, moon lighting in the lunar cycle, random cloud flight and even an acclimatization program for new residents. ReefBeat also offers best practice guidelines during setup as well as useful notifications for your smartphone, for example in the event of a power failure.
