Continuous filtration via Carb L (high purity activated pellet carbon) is a cornerstone of the Zeo-Light system. Carb L is used as "permanent carbon" and is suitable for the care of sensitive SPS and LPS corals. Filtering through activated carbon keeps the water crystal clear - phenols, protein compounds, dyes and cnidarian toxins are filtered out of the water and rendered harmless.
Dosage:
300 g Carb L per 1000 litres of water using the suspended bed method.
Max 200 litres/h flow rate
500g Carb L per 1000 litres of water when used with a filter bag or nylon stocking.
Replacement interval:
Change the carbon every 3 - 4 weeks, always alternating with the 14-day zeolite change.
Preparation before use:
Pour hot water over the charcoal 1 day before use and let it sit in the water for 24 hours
Storage advice:
Store in a dry place, away from light, at normal room temperature.
Avoid contamination of the product with bacteria or dirt.
Make sure children do not have access to the products used or stored.
Disposal:
The empty can can be disposed of with household waste or at recycling collection points.
