product description
Coris formosa - Formosa Wrasse (juvenile)
Sample picture.
The Formosa Wrasse (Coris formosa) is an interesting fish for larger tanks. They adapt quickly to aquarium life and readily accept most offered foods, so they are quite easy to keep. They actively feed on bristleworms, snails, flatworm and other invertebrates, so especially juveniles are popular against all kinds of nuisances. However, they will flip stones and corals on their search for prey, and if they grow larger they may damage invertebrates like clams, shrimp or sea urchins, so they are only suitable for reef aquariums with caution. To sleep and when hiding, they bury themselves in the sand.
