This compact aquarium computer is a comfortable measuring, control and control system. At the same time, we have placed the highest priority on simple operation.
Up to two water values (eg pH and temperature) are permanently monitored by the iks aquastar midi and can be controlled via the switch sockets. The basic version already contains a switching socket, which can be assigned with any function. The practical time switch and interval functions correspond to the extensive and well thought-out functions of the iks aquastar.

A two-line text display and a large LED display support a high operating comfort and a very good readability of the measured values even in darkness and greater distance.
With an additional external display, you can also inform yourself about the current measured values in another room.
The system is available in the versions iks aquastar midi pH (pH / temperature) and iks aquastar midi redox (redox / temperature).

Features:

Logically constructed and simple operation.

Up to two sockets with 4 sockets can be connected to the iks aquastar midi. Thus one has 1 plus 8 controlled sockets, which are also dimmable available, in order to be able to control as realistic as possible simulations. Up to 32 time switch functions (with weekday function) can be programmed with the iks aquastar midi. The shortest switching time is only 1 second. This means that even the smallest quantities of trace elements can be fed evenly and automatically by means of a dosing pump (such as the iks Vario). (The dosing pump iks Vario MP 045 delivers only 0.075 ml per second in the smallest setting.)

The interval functions can be individually adapted to your own needs. The interval duration can be set separately for the active and passive phases, whereby a random variant (time) can be specified for both. The comprehensive day / night simulation optimizes the illumination of the aquarium and is very simple. This can be used to define various lighting on and off times. If the lighting used is "dimmable", a sunrise or sunset can be simulated. It is even possible to simulate the sunrise / sunset of a certain region of the earth (by entering latitude and longitude)! Also the period of the night reduction (pH value, temperature, flow, etc.) is enabled with this function.

The integrated lunar phase simulation includes two variants. A practical approach for the aquarist and a very realistic simulation of the moonlight (eg coral rearing), taking into account both the length and the intensity of the light. It is even possible to enter latitude and longitude, thus simulating the lunar phase of a particular region of the earth! The manifold variants of flow simulation, such as pulsating waves or low tide, are also very extensive. Regardless of the size of the aquarium or the shape of the aquarium, you can create an optimal flow for every pool with this detailed simulation. You can control up to 8 pumps!

In the Profi' programming stage, you can perform up to eight different controls with one measuring and control module. Case: At 25 ° C socket 1 is activated with a floor heating system. If the temperature drops further to 24.5 ° C, a heating element is connected to socket 2. If the temperature in your pool becomes too high, a fan / cooler can be switched on at socket 3 at 27 ° C. With all these functions, you can also enter different values for day / night and summer / winter.

All controls can be assigned lower and / or upper alarm points.
Acoustic, optical and external alarm (eg siren or alarm light).
Automatic calibration with sensor test (for pH and redox sensors).
Display of salt content, density or mS in seawater aquarium (only with conductivity module).

All measured values can be stored in the iks aquastar midi in freely definable time intervals and transferred to the PC. 4000 measuring chains (a measuring chain consists of the date, time and the values of all connected sensors) can thus be stored. A required connection cable is available from iks. The software to transfer the data to the PC (iks datastar), you can download free of charge from the section Software of this web page of iks. On your PC you can easily identify long-term trends and dependencies between different factors in your aquarium. A PC program for easy data evaluation (graphics, database, tables, online display, etc.) is in the development phase. Future-proof with update function: As the entire system is constantly evolving, you have the possibility to download the latest programs with a PC via Internet (Functions). This means that you are always up-to-date.
